LockMark does not collect your data. Any of it. Ever. It runs entirely on your device — no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking.
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or document content. Because processing is local-only, we never see your files, your recipients, or your results.
To do its job, LockMark stores locally, in your app's data folder: recipient names and email addresses you enter; source documents you import and the marked copies it generates; and per-copy identifiers, passwords, and a local activity log. You control this data — deleting the app's data folder, or the app, removes it. None of it is backed up to us or synced to any cloud by LockMark.
LockMark does not require a network connection to function and makes no background network requests. The only outbound action is optional and user-initiated: choosing an "Upgrade" or "Learn more" link opens your web browser to our website, which is governed by the website's own privacy notice. The app itself sends no data.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data brokers in the app. There is no data to share, and we share none.
In Apple App Store terms, LockMark Lite is classified as "Data Not Collected."
LockMark is a professional tool not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Because your data never leaves your device, the primary safeguard is your own device security. Generated copies are protected with strong AES-256 encryption and per-copy passwords.
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version with a new effective date. Since we collect no data, changes will typically concern clarity rather than new data practices.
